WHY HELLO THERE YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ THIS BUT GO AHEAD IF YOU WANT Empty WHY HELLO THERE YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ THIS BUT GO AHEAD IF YOU WANT

Hey, guys! Pianoman91894 here.

I came home from college today to see that there was some trouble caused over a user who told the truth about why I resigned as a mod. I announced this in private initially, as I didn't want to create a debate on the forums. However, to avoid further trouble, I'm announcing my reasons behind leaving the modteam publicly. I don't want this to spark a debate, I'm only posting this to prevent this from happening again.

I left right around the time when Creative was removed from Yocraft, among other decisions being made at the time that I didn't agree with. I saw where the server was potentially heading, and I fought it. Oh boy, did I fight it. My opinions were the cause of many debates, a few of which got more heated than I would've preferred. In the midst of all this happening, I felt as if I was drifting a bit from the server, and from the users there, because any time I saw something that had been changed, it made me remember those debates. It was causing a lot of stress, both in the relationships between myself and some of the other mods/admins, and in my daily life. So I decided to leave, because I didn't want to be a part of what was happening to the server. I knew the changes would upset a lot of people, and it did. I didn't want to be a part of making decisions that would make people angry, and that's about it, really.

There have been several changes as of late that I've been very happy with (the return of co-op, more regular streams, etc.), and I am legitimately interested to see what the future holds for the server. However, I still do believe my resignation is for the better.

So there's the truth, in plain sight. Hopefully that will prevent trouble for the future.
